On 1 September, four FANS Studies Areas go live (Military Studies, Law & Politics, Science & Technology, and Health & Biology). On 1 October, Religion & Philosophy goes live. Several more (Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Literature, Language, & Linguistics, and Pop Culture Parenting) are slated for January 2018. There are still committee openings for all these groups and their respective CFPs will be posted in short order.
