The FANS Association has a new group page over on dA run by executive committee member Shannon Burkett (aka: Prax). Media in all its forms falls within our purview. We hope to use this group as a nucleus for future creation and analysis of fandom art works. For now we’re limited to still two-dimensional pieces, but eventually we hope to include video and plastic pieces, and even performance art. In short, art in all its forms.
We hope to make the journal edition a possibility next year and a proper curatorial show next summer. Send us a note on the Contact Us page to let us know if you would be interested in this effort in any capacity: artistic, critical, or curatorial.
